Our snow so far this winter has been fairly minimal, however, we experienced a very cold snap where temperatures hovered in the area of -25 degrees celsius!! There is snow on our local mountains and our students have been taking the opportunity on the weekends to go skiing annd snowboarding. January also brought mid-terms and final exams along with the change of the semester. We welcomed an additional 10 students to our program! They come to us from Germany, Panama, Mexico, and China. This month our activity was curling, such a fun way to experience some Canadian culture. It's basketball season and some of our students Alex, Raul, and Mauricio G. are all involved with the Senior Boy's Team, and cheered on by their fellow international friends !
