Student council has been busy planning...check out the remaining events.
The 3rd week of Advent, reminds us that we are almost there. It is symbolic of the joy that the shepherds felt as they ran to see Jesus. The church calls this Sunday "Gaudete Sunday", which means rejoice or praise. The candle is pink, as the liturgical colour for joy.
In addition to our grad show, as part of our fundraising, we are including a 50/50 online draw. ! This fundraiser is super easy to do, and the prize money has the potential to reach $10K!!! Tickets for our 2025 Grad Show, “Be Our Guest” are finally coming on sale! For those families unfamiliar with this event, the grad show is a variety-style performance with acts from the grade 12 class. It is the PRIMARY fundraiser we will be holding to help raise funds to offset the costs of prom and graduation; we need your help in attending and promoting this event! This amazing evening will take place Friday, February 7. Doors open at 6:00pm.
There will be a PRE-SALE of tickets and concession the week of December 16-19 at lunch and afterschool. Concession of pizza, sushi, and charcuterie are only available as pre-orders. Concession of popcorn, candy, and drinks will be available on the night. From December 20th onward, tickets can ONLY be bought by going to the online portal which will be provided next week.
The night of the show, general admission at the door will be $20.00.
We encourage all Immaculata families to make an evening of it and enjoy a night of fellowship, entertainment, and community. Thank you all for your support on this!

2nd Sunday of Advent. The "Bethlehem candle" symbolizes Peace. From Pope Francis, “May we be in this world a ray of that light which shone forth from Bethlehem, bringing joy and peace to the hearts of all men and women.”
This great fundraiser has now become a tradition for Immac. Tell your friends and family to to drive by on December 13 with a turkey or a donation for this great cause!

Pope Francis has declared a World Day for Youth, which is Christ the King Sunday, on November 24th this year. What a great opportunity for our youth to be a part of. We invite all of the youth in our city to take part of this celebration at St. Charles Garnier.

The Mission Team is tirelessly fundraising for their trip. Please support their efforts by donating your recyclable bottles. You can do this at any bottle depot, or by dropping off your recyclables on NOVEMBER 14 (tomorrow), before and after school.

Fall Grad retreat is happening this Wednesday, November 13th. Meet at Immaculata and we will bus from there.
We invite you to join us for this paraliturgy.
During November we remember our faithful departed and pray for them. We invite you to add the name and/or picture of your deceased loved one to add to our wall. We will be praying for those on the wall during assemblies and throughout the month.
Don't forget, tomorrow is a uniform day because we have a special celebration. The whole school will be praying a "living rosary" in honour of October being Rosary Month. See you then.
