BRETT BOECHLER – FIRST YEAR AS ATHLETIC DIRECTOR FOR IMMACULATA

Name:  Brett Boechler

Hometown: Saskatoon

School: University of Sasketchewan  B. Ed, B. Kin. 2018

Current Role: Athletic Director, Senior Boys Basketball Coach

How Did You End Up at Immaculata:

My Dad was a gym teacher for 30 years in BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan. I basically grew up in a gym, so I knew I wanted to be a gym teacher. My Dad and my step-mom live in West Kelowna and saw the Immaculata job posting in the church bulletin. For a first year teacher, the opportunity to be an Athletic Director was too good to pass up.

How Was Your First Year of Teaching?

I have learned a lot, made some new friends, and received lots of advice from my Dad. Some of his suggestions worked, some didn’t.
